Change from managed to unmanaged mode on UNIX-based

platforms

Changing the agent mode on non‑Windows systems must be done manually.

Task

On the target system, locate the msaconfig file in the binaries subfolder of the cma folder.

Operating system Default location

HP‑UX, Linux, AIX, and Solaris

/opt/McAfee/cma/bin

Macintosh

/Library/McAfee/cma/bin

Open a terminal window on the target system.

Run the following command:

/opt/McAfee/cma/bin/msaconfig ‑u [‑nostart]

The optional [‑nostart] parameter indicates that the agent does not restart after changing mode.
