The output of this command shows a list of all ethernet cards and gives the in-
formation if the connection is working properly or not.
If a ethernet card is not able to be activated in the graphical tool, you can use the
following commands (in this example for ‚eth0‘):
service network restart
ifdown eth0
ifup eth0
10.4 Configuring the laboratory network by DHCP

• On the tab pane Devices click on eth0 and click Edit . Note that it is neces-
sary to use eth0 for your internet connection, because eth1 is required for
