Pramati Server 3.0 Installation Guide
For a complete Platform Certification Report, refer the appendix of this
document. For exact information on the current release of the product,
read the Release Notes that is with your installation or on the Website.
Installation Scenarios
Depending on your requirement, you may choose from one of the
following installation scenarios:
Scenario A Pramati Server, embedded JMS and Deploy Tool on the same
host machine.
Scenario B Deploy Tool installed separately for remote deployments on
multiple Pramati Servers installed across the network.
Scenario C Pramati Message Server installed separately and available as a
messaging node for multiple application servers communicating using
Java Message Service.
Scenarios may involve firewalls or other network constraints. For further help,
refer the online help available with Pramati Server Management Console.
Installing Server on Solaris and Linux
To install Server:
1 Check the System Requirements.
2 Ensure you have logged in as any user.
3 Download PServer30.jar from http://www.pramati.com to your local
directory. If you are installing from the CD, insert the CD in the CD-
ROM drive. Mount the CD ROM drive, if required.
4 From the installation directory, run java -jar PServer30.jar to start the
installation wizard.
5 Click next to proceed to the license agreement. Read the agreement
and, if you agree with the terms, select “I accept the terms of license
agreement” and click Next.
