Installing Server

6 Specify the directory where you want to install the selected

components. You must have write permissions on this directory.

7 Specify the path of JDK1.3.1_01 installed on your machine.

Specifying an incorrect path will halt the installation.

8 Enter the Licensee name and the License key.

If you are downloading the product from the Website, an evaluation

license key is available at the download page. If you are installing from

the CD, the license key is on the license certificate that ships with the

product. For more on licensing, contact license@pramati.com.

9 Click Next. The installation process starts, extracting the components

under the specified installation directory. Click Finish.

The Server is installed. You can now verify the installation.

Installing Server on Windows

To install Server:

1 Check System Requirements.

2 Log in as an user with administration privileges. You may need

administration privileges on certain Windows platforms to create the

application shortcuts.

3 If you are installing from CD, insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive.

4 Select the installation file PServer30.exe from Windows Explorer and

double click on the file to start the installation wizard.

5 Click on Next to proceed to the license agreement. Read the

agreement and, if you agree with the terms, select “I accept the terms

of license agreement” and click Next.

6 Next, specify the directory for the installation.

7 Specify the path of JDK1.3.1_01 installed on the machine. Specifying

an incorrect path will halt the installation.
