Hardware Requirements

The hardware requirements are:

• Any hardware platform that supports Java with minimum 128 MB

RAM (256 recommended).

• Minimum 100 MB hard disk space during installation. Also, make

sure that the temporary directory set by the Environment Variable

TMP has a minimum disk space of 100 MB.

Operating Systems

You can install Server on any platform that supports JDK 1.3.1_01. It has

been tested on:

• Windows 2000™Professional and Server

• Windows NT™ 4 with Service Pack 5 or higher

• RedHat Linux™ 6.2

• Sun Solaris™ 7 and 8

Server installs through InstallShield version 4.01, which does not support SCO

and BSD variants of Unix.

JDK Requirements

Server requires JDK™1.3.1_01 to run. To verify the JDK version on your

machine, at the command prompt, enter java –version. The value that is

returned is the JDK version on your machine.

Web Browser Requirements

The Web-based Pramati Server Management Console has been tested to

work with Internet Explorer 5.5 or above, Netscape 4.7 or above, Opera

5.1, or any other browser that supports HTML 3.2.
