4 If you have installed Server with JMS, enter runserver -

startjms

This starts Message Server and opens a standard Server prompt.

5 To stop Message Server, run shutdown at the prompt. This stops

Message Server and returns control to the shell prompt.

Verifying Installation on Windows

Server

To verify Server installation:

1 Look for the following shorcuts from the Windows Start menu:

Programs > Pramati 3.0 > Server Administration

Programs > Pramati 3.0 > Deploy Tool

Programs > Pramati 3.0 > Default Server

Programs > Pramati 3.0 > Server Documentation

2 Select Programs > Pramati 3.0 > Server Administration. This starts the

Pramati Administration Service on port 4748. The Service opens in a

Web browser.

3 Login to the Service by entering the login and password. You can use

the default entries, root and pramati. Click on login.

4 The Administration Service main page appears. It shows the default

Server auto-configured by the Service on your machine (local host).

5 Clicking on Start and Connect starts and connects to the Server.

Deploy Tool

To begin using the Deploy Tool, you must first start a Server on the

network. Then:

1 Select the shortcut Programs > Pramati 3.0 > Deploy Tool.

2 Deploy Tool starts by prompting for a Server instance to connect to.

Enter the configuration details of default Server:
